Can I just take a minute to tell you how BEAUTIFUL this book is in person?! I literally squealed when I picked it up at the bookstore. It has thick old looking pages, and a deep red attached ribbon bookmark. The cover is absolutely gorgeous the picture does NOT give it justice. I am beyond excited about this book and cant wait to start it, and I love how beautiful it looks on my shelf.

So I know I have this book in hard cover, but when I went to my library today I saw that they had it in audio form and I had to have it. Cress is a huge book, and through out the day while I work around the house I love to listen to an audio book. I feel like I am getting work accomplished, and getting a book scratched off my TBR. Sorry about the bad picture, I had to take just a picture of the binder because my library likes to put a HUGE sticker with our local town, zip code, etc. on the front of the audio books.

*I need to say that I went on a reading rampage when it came to the Lux series by JLA this week. I have read the first three already this week, and starting on the fourth, sorry not sorry! I am in love with this series and cannot recommend it enough! I have a review up for Obsidian and reviews for the other books on the way =)

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something... unexpected happens.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
