December 8th: Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015
 
This was one of the best reads for me this year! I feel like I cannot believe I waited this long to enjoy the amazing world of Holly Black's writing.
 
 
This was the BEST SUMMER read. I have another book by Matson, but I am saving it for summer =)
 
Higgins' writing will make you laugh, blush, and cry. I LOVED this series
 
Ready's world in this book was unique and fantastic!
 
Do I really need to say anything about Marie's writing besides perfection?
 
I could not put this book down!
 
I feel deprived because I waited too long to read Bardugo's writing.
 
I know, I know, it took me too long to read Kagawa books! I made up for it though, I have read three of her books this year =)
 
I know this author does not write YA, but I needed a Christmas book! Read my previous post about there being few YA Christmas books
 
I know I cheated...kinda. I mean Tahir IS new to me =) I am just so excited for her next book to come out!

Meet My Book Boyfriends

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by   The Broke and the Bookish This week:  Top Ten Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends (Which characters do you have crushes on?) Tower of Dawn It's been a long time coming, but I finally gave in to Chaol. He's complex, confusing, dark, and endearing.  Lola and the Boy Next Door Cricket is my sweet boyfriend. He loves Lola for exactly who she is. He never asks her to change, and falls in love with every part of her.  The Raven Boys I refuse to pick. I want them all!  White Hot Kiss I like both men in this book, but if I had to pick, it would be Roth. I just love his attitude. I haven't read the last book. Characters I Never Trust

There are certain characters I never trust. If there is a murder, someone out to destroy the main character, and/or mysterious things are happening, it is almost always one of these characters behind it. The overly helpful adult or superior. This could be a teacher or leader that is always there to save you at the last minute. The superior who has all the answer that you need to solve the mystery.  Family member from the love interests side. It may be a mother who thinks the girl isn't good enough for her son or the power hungry father. Shy background/secondary character. The character who is awkward and maybe the friend that is in the circle because of a family link or the circle just feels sorry for them. The shy character who gets looked over and holds a grudge. You gotta watch the quite ones! Characters that come out of no where . The characters who coincidently show up  right before all cray breaks lose. It could be a long time friend that just so happens to be visitin
