Some of these books were released in 2014 and others were books that were released years ago, but I am did not read these gems till now. So without farther delay here is the list.....and I think it goes without saying but I will say it anyway I HIGHLY recommend all of these fantastic books! contemporaries

such a sweet and relatable book!
This series is AMAZING I flew through it which is saying a lot since I do not typically like contemporary. This is a MUST read by the pool or beach!
Dystopian-Post-Apocalyptic & Most Surprising Favorite

I have said before, this book is very dark and the type of book I usually do not enjoy, but I FREAKING LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! The writing, plot, characters, EVERYTHING sucks you in and leaves you know choice but to love this book.
So freaking wonderful and original. I devoured this book!
I know I did not do reviews on the bloodline series, but that is because I didn't give myself time to. As soon as I finished one I grabbed the next. I did NOTHING for a week because all I did was read these books! This is for sure one of the BEST series I have ever read. If I had to pick just one of these books to be my favorite it would be Silver Shadows.
Ya'll already know my love for this book.
One of the funniest books I have read in a long time. Everything about this book was fun and exciting. A great pick me up book for those grumpy days.
I loved Scarlet and thought it was a great sequel.
This series just gets better and better
This is the sequel to Let the Sky Fall and it was FANTASTIC! I feel like this series is way underrated and more people need to read it.
This was such a fun read and I am beyond happy I jumped on the Alienated bandwagon!
Sarah J. Maas has easily made my automatic buy authors list. If you have not started this series DO IT NOW!!! There is going to be a lot of books in this series, and you should not make yourself wait that long to read it. You are cheating yourself my friends.
I was shocked with how amazing this book was! The world building was not over done or too complex. I loved the creativity and plot.
Hands down the best fantasy I read this year and it was a debut book!!! Cannot wait to see what this author has in store for this series.

Review: Angelfall

                                                                           Title: Angelfall
Series: Book #1 in Penryn & the End of Days Trilogy
Overall Rating on Goodreads: 4.22
Published: May 21st 2011 by Feral Dream
Pages: 283 Pages
Favorite Quote: “Sometimes, as we're stumbling along in the dark, we hit something good.”
My Rating: 5/5 Stars!!!!!!
In A Nutshell
This book was an epic adventure with dark and gory details that left me breathless and anxious to see how the story played out. I read the audio book and it was AMAZING. The narrator did a fantastic job and made me really feel like I was in the middle of all the action. I will warn you this book is not cupcakes and rainbows, but its a story that you wont easily forget, will make you appreciate every happy moment you get to read about, and it will become a new favorite. This book forces you to love it with the beautiful writing, unique and creative twist on the Apocalypse. I HIGHLY recommend it even if darker themed books are not your usual style. If you don't read this book you are going to miss out on a great experience!
"It's been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.

Anything, including making a deal with an enemy angel.

Raffe is a warrior who lies broken and wingless on the street. After eons of fighting his own battles, he finds himself being rescued from a desperate situation by a half-starved teenage girl.

Traveling through a dark and twisted Northern California, they have only each other to rely on for survival. Together, they journey toward the angels' stronghold in San Francisco where she'll risk everything to rescue her sister and he'll put himself at the mercy of his greatest enemies for the chance to be made whole again."
I was afraid of this book, yes it had amazing reviews and one of the highest goodreads rating I have ever seen but still it sounded so dark and gloomy. And it was dark and gloomy that isn't usually my style, but I feel like this book is so beautifully written with so many twist and turns it forces you to love it. I was shocked by the twists on the Apocalypse this is not what I learned growing up in church, and it left me terrified. I wont lie there were some parts that had me freaked out so much that I didn't want to be left alone. This was dark and to me realistic but it still had me swooning at moments. The romance takes a backset in this book, but it makes you appreciate every last drop of romance you get. Susan Ee did a great job with keeping the mood dark and terrifying but gave still gave the character and readers hope. I loved this book and cannot believe that I wanted so long to read it, but it was a great way to end the year! I do recommend the audio book, this one is one that I feel like everyone would love. The narrator makes you feel all the emotions. It is probably one of the best audio books I have ever listened to.
What did you think of Angelfall? Oh and do you guys like the "In a nutshell" part? I thought maybe it would be nice for maybe the readers who want to read my thoughts but are in a hurry.
I hope you guys are having an amazing day!
Happy reading yall

Day #4: Characters that are on Santa's naughty list.
I HATED Eric in this book! In this series there are MANY characters to hate, but with Eric I couldn't find ANY redeeming qualities.
Roth is the BEST kind of naughty! I love his character so much, and let me tell you this book is HOT.
Roth is a tattooed sexy demon and has no soul. Interested yet? I am telling you if you haven't read this series you NEED it in your life. BUT if you are younger please know this is a NA book, so use your best judgment I am not going to tell you to not read it if you are mature enough for the content.
Will Herondale is a naughty boy, but again in the best kind of ways. He is a character that you have to peel back the layers to see what he truly is. Is he naughty or nice, You have to read the series to find out. This is one of my favorite series BTW =)
Voldemort......enough said.
