Cold 911
Emergency relief
Bad colds require kick butt interventions. Take this tea, for example. It’s a deliciously soothing mix of peppermint, juniper berries and apple. Pretty kick butt, right? If that’s not extreme enough for you, you could try eating raw garlic, or gargling salt water, or inhaling lots of steam. Yeah...we didn’t think so. Probably better just to stick to the tea. With its soothing citrus and mint aroma we can’t guarantee miracle results, but at least we can guarantee it tastes great. (MK Kosher)
Ingredients
Organic: Peppermint, apple, juniper berries. With natural eucalyptus and orange flavouring*.
So fun fact, while helping six year olds practice their reading you may will get spit on. Another fun fact when they are sick and spit on you, you will get sick and feel like the walking dead.
Times like this is why I am so happy that I stocked up on some of Davids Tea . Yup you guessed it after being spit on I was sicker than a dog. I was coughing, running a fever, my nose was stuffed up extremely bad, my eyes were swollen, my entire body ached. The hubby remembered I had some tea and he made me Cold 911 he put in some fresh squeezed lemon and a little honey to help coat my throat. Holy cow guys this stuff is great! No it isn't a miracle worker but it truly helped and I can tell you how I know. I like to hold my tea cup close to my face and smell it, I'm weird we already know this. When I went to smell this tea it smelt JUST like vicks vapor rub because of the eucalyptus in it. This helped me to be able to breathe again. After sipping on it my cough started to loosen up and the warmth of the tea made my body relax enough till I feel asleep almost immediately after finishing it.
I am still recovering but I have been making a cup of this tea every night at bed time and I look forward to it every night. This tea has a weird cooling taste to that I have never tasted with any other tea and it is FANTASTIC. The peppermint and eucalyptus is the best combo for a nasty cold.
I am beyond happy I found Davids Tea and I highly recommend Cold 911!
So what are your thoughts? Have you tried David's Tea before? If so what teas do you recommend for me to try next? I've actually ordered their cold kits because while working with kids I am sick 70% of the time. Let me know your favorite teas in the comments.
