Top Ten Tuesday: Villains

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This weeks Top Ten: Villains (favorite, best, worst, lovable, creepiest, most evil, etc.)

I couldn't decide which type of villain I wanted to write about, so that lead me to do subcategories. I feel like such a rebel!
Villains I Love To Hate

I have a review of this book coming soon so I won't say too much, but there is a character I absolutely hate. Most villains have redeeming qualities, but this character had lacked any of those qualities. She loved to hurt others and was completely heartless.

The Villain in this book was completely cut throat, heartless, violent, and everything I love to hate. This Villain did things that ripped my heart out, stomped on it, then put it through a shredder.

I have never hated a villain more then the one in this book. This is the 5th book of the Throne of Glass series so I can't say anything more, but if you haven't read this series you are missing out!

Twisted Villains
I've talked about this before, but this book was very hard for me to get through. It was twisted, gory, and dark. Dorothy is our obvious villain given away by the title, but she isn't the only one.

I can't say much about this one, but who ended up being the murderer was very twisted.

Societies, Government, Associations, etc.
I LOVED this book. The government does experiments on 4 genetic altered boys.
The alchemists in this series have some serious rules and boundaries that are never allowed to be crossed. They believe themselves to be the heroes and the vampires the monsters, but not everything is what it seems.

Whose The Bad Guy?
I loved that this book makes you think about what is good and evil, and the gray that lies between.

Bad Boys I Love
If you're a long time reader of this blog then you know how much I use to hate Seth. In The Covenant series I couldn't stand him, but somehow JLA has warped my mind into loving him. He's impulsive, rude, and yes he has been a villain, but I can't help but love him anyways.

I simply love a villain in this series. This is considered the 4th book in this series, but it's the first book of Calla's story. This is a hidden gem that you won't regret reading

I can't wait to read everyone's list. Make sure you leave your links in the comments. I hope you're having an amazing day!

Back to School: Percy Jackson Style

As any fangirl or fanboy wherever you go you want to show your love of books. Being lovers of books we are a unique kind. We crush over fictional characters, they become our best friends, when they hurt we hurt. Books are our escape, our passion, our fun, hobby, friend, books are our lives. Pride comes with being a book nerd and it's something you should embrace. These books we love sometimes take over. We love them so much we want to be a part of that world. I wanted to help find ways for you to always feel close to your favorite books and characters. This week I wanted to do Percy Jackson because I mean who doesn't like Percy Jackson?! These outfits are loosely inspired by some of the loved characters from The Percy Jackson series or the book covers. I stayed on pinterest for hours (shocker right?) to find outfits that have simple pieces that you can find in your closet or wouldn't be hard to find for a good price at stores. I also wanted to find outfits that could easil

Of Poseidon

"Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen-literally, ouch!-both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom...Told from both Emma and Galen's points of view, here is a fish-out-of-water story that sparkles with intrigue, humor, and waves of romance." I really enjoyed Of Poseidon  so much in fact that I have read it twice. Of Poseidon is the first book in the Syrena series, and this book is full of humor I was laughing from the very first page. The best part of this book was how much I laughed like a crazy person. Emma and Galen keep having strange encounters, and while Galen has an explanation for them, Emma just thinks he's a creepy stalker who wants to sue her for run
