THIS WEEKS QUESTION:
Tell us about a book character you’d trade places with - Suggested by Escaping Within Pages

Okay I am almost certain that the character I chose will be chosen multiple times, because well how about I just show you what book the character comes from. DRUM ROLL PLEASE

Yup that's right I would want to be Tessa. Especially in this book (which is the last book in the series.) If you didn't know this series is one of my favorite series of all time. I love the world, the romance, the time era, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!  Tessa is your main character who plays in a lovely love triangle that I ate up and would love to take her place in =) I love almost every character in this series and would of loved to been part of their family type bond. I know that Tessa didn't have it made or easy BUT compared to a lot of my favorite book character Tessa is a walk in the park. Some of my favorite character go through so much heartbreak, challenges, PHYSICALLY challenges that I would kill over doing. I cant take a hike without painting and our dog turning around to check on me to make sure I haven't died. (Funny but not a joke, I REALLY need a treadmill or something.) Just talking about Tessa and how much I love this series makes me want to reread it! I may do that this weekend. What about you guys which character would you be? I LOVE this question it's so interesting I cannot wait to see who you guys pick. Leave a comment letting me know or a link to your blog. If you are a new follower make sure to let me know so I can follow you back.

*MY GIVEAWAY FOR SILVER SHADOW BY RICHELLE MEAD IS STILL GOING ON* You have to scroll to find the post though =( I still haven't figured out how to get a widget to put on the side of my blog that lets you know I have a giveaway going on and that you just click it. BACK TO SCHOOL: Schools in Books

This week on Back to School I wanted to help you guys feel in sync with some great characters. I wanted to pick some books for you guys that I love that take place in school environments. Now school will not be the main point or problem these characters go through, but they do go through some of the tough situations and stress you guys do at school. Some characters live on campus and deal with the drama of being independent for the first time, missing home, the struggle of finding who they truly are, drama, and parties. College is a hard time for many people because you are finding your own self on your own terms. Mommy and daddy aren't there to tell you what to do or how to act. Some struggle while others flourish.   I HAD to put girls in this post that loved to learn and enjoyed the structure of school. I sometimes forget that learning can be looked at on a bright note. It's hard to remember that when you have 5 gazillion papers to write. I picked two girls I thought...

Back to School: Percy Jackson Style

As any fangirl or fanboy wherever you go you want to show your love of books. Being lovers of books we are a unique kind. We crush over fictional characters, they become our best friends, when they hurt we hurt. Books are our escape, our passion, our fun, hobby, friend, books are our lives. Pride comes with being a book nerd and it's something you should embrace. These books we love sometimes take over. We love them so much we want to be a part of that world. I wanted to help find ways for you to always feel close to your favorite books and characters. This week I wanted to do Percy Jackson because I mean who doesn't like Percy Jackson?! These outfits are loosely inspired by some of the loved characters from The Percy Jackson series or the book covers. I stayed on pinterest for hours (shocker right?) to find outfits that have simple pieces that you can find in your closet or wouldn't be hard to find for a good price at stores. I also wanted to find outfits that...

Review: Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

Title: Becoming Alpha  Author: Aileen Erin  Genre: Paranormal Fantasy  Pages: 267 Goodreads Overall Rating: 4.11 Published:  December 17th, 2013 by Ink Monster, LLC   My Rating:  I can’t do that. I can’t turn my emotions off and on like that. I’m either all in or all out. And if you can’t do that—if I don’t come first, then for God’s sake, leave me alone. Becoming Alpha is the true definition of YA paranormal fantasy and I devoured it. Erin took troupes that are known in YA and ran with them in fun, plausible, and exciting ways while taking her own spin on them. I sped through this book and right after I downloaded the next book in the series because I couldn't wait for the two-day shipping of the physical book.  At the beginning of the book, we meet our main character Tessa and her family. Tessa has an unusual gift and it has marked her as the odd girl out at and causing her to feel isolated. With her family...
