I'M BACK!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS I HAVE MISSED YOU GUYS!!! I have been so lost without my blog. I knew my blog meant a lot to me, but I had no idea how quickly Books To The Tea has become part of me. I feel like having this blog was the key that unlocked a part of me I didn't even know I was missing. I would like to say thank you for you guys who read my blog and take the time to comment letting me know yes, there are people out there who enjoy reading what I have to say. I hope I haven't disappointed too many of you guys for my lack of posts.
If you did not know, the hubby and I moved. If you have ever moved you know what a long process it is.We haven't unboxed everything, but the majority is done. Not only did we move but we upgraded from a condo to a house. Which is great and I feel truly blessed, but we barely had enough furniture to fill our condo up. So we have been spending all our free time running around everywhere trying to find great sales on furniture. Which is fun but can be a slow process and stressful. However we have almost got the house finished and we are so happy with how it is coming along.
It is safe to say we all (including the fur babies) love our new home. Now that we are settled I can get back to what I love, reading and....BLOGGING =) I have a few fun things that will be coming your way starting in May! I am beyond excited to share with you guys but you will have to wait just a little longer before I can let you in on the secret. I know I'm evil right? Sorry but don't worry you wont have to wait long. Just make sure you are subscribed so when I post the special announcements you will be the first to know =)

Back to School: Percy Jackson Style

As any fangirl or fanboy wherever you go you want to show your love of books. Being lovers of books we are a unique kind. We crush over fictional characters, they become our best friends, when they hurt we hurt. Books are our escape, our passion, our fun, hobby, friend, books are our lives. Pride comes with being a book nerd and it's something you should embrace. These books we love sometimes take over. We love them so much we want to be a part of that world. I wanted to help find ways for you to always feel close to your favorite books and characters. This week I wanted to do Percy Jackson because I mean who doesn't like Percy Jackson?! These outfits are loosely inspired by some of the loved characters from The Percy Jackson series or the book covers. I stayed on pinterest for hours (shocker right?) to find outfits that have simple pieces that you can find in your closet or wouldn't be hard to find for a good price at stores. I also wanted to find outfits that...

BACK TO SCHOOL: Schools in Books

This week on Back to School I wanted to help you guys feel in sync with some great characters. I wanted to pick some books for you guys that I love that take place in school environments. Now school will not be the main point or problem these characters go through, but they do go through some of the tough situations and stress you guys do at school. Some characters live on campus and deal with the drama of being independent for the first time, missing home, the struggle of finding who they truly are, drama, and parties. College is a hard time for many people because you are finding your own self on your own terms. Mommy and daddy aren't there to tell you what to do or how to act. Some struggle while others flourish.   I HAD to put girls in this post that loved to learn and enjoyed the structure of school. I sometimes forget that learning can be looked at on a bright note. It's hard to remember that when you have 5 gazillion papers to write. I picked two girls I thought...

Review: Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

Title: Becoming Alpha  Author: Aileen Erin  Genre: Paranormal Fantasy  Pages: 267 Goodreads Overall Rating: 4.11 Published:  December 17th, 2013 by Ink Monster, LLC   My Rating:  I can’t do that. I can’t turn my emotions off and on like that. I’m either all in or all out. And if you can’t do that—if I don’t come first, then for God’s sake, leave me alone. Becoming Alpha is the true definition of YA paranormal fantasy and I devoured it. Erin took troupes that are known in YA and ran with them in fun, plausible, and exciting ways while taking her own spin on them. I sped through this book and right after I downloaded the next book in the series because I couldn't wait for the two-day shipping of the physical book.  At the beginning of the book, we meet our main character Tessa and her family. Tessa has an unusual gift and it has marked her as the odd girl out at and causing her to feel isolated. With her family...
